What's happening next with QuizBob?

Here are some answers to the most common questions I've been asked since the news about Solitary Sixty earlier in the year...

Have you stopped making QuizBob shows?

Filming ended a year ago on new QuizBob content. The latest release - Drop It Louie P - was recorded in 2023.

So too was the final QuizBob release - an episode of Mucked Up, coming soon.

Why aren't you filming shows any more?

Since my earlier post in the year about Solitary Sixty, running that has become a full-time job - just as QuizBob was!

(Yes, I've been fortunate enough that another mad idea has proved popular enough to keep me busy running it. Thanks to the many of you who have already wished me well with the new venture.)

What's happened to the gunge tank? Can I buy it / borrow it / have it?

No - it was built to last for 5 years, which it dutifully did. It was not designed to be moved once in position, being made from heat-adhered acrylic panels that had no solid frame.

It was "carefully dismantled" (smashed into bits) to allow it to be recycled at a specialist plastic recyclers.

Is this the end of QuizBob?

There aren't any plans in the foreseeable future to make new QuizBob content. But I'm very proud of the QuizBob brand and may return one day to make new videos - with the Best Guests First, of course!

Will you be closing the website?

The website will remain for as long as people continue to want to purchase the downloads. If a decision is made to close or rest the website, plenty of notice will be given - so don't panic!

Did you think about using gunge on Solitary Sixty?

Yes.

...And?

No. It's completely separate from QuizBob.

The Solitary Sixty set is utterly unsuitable to use liquids on.

(And I feel I've earned a break from spending half of my waking life either mixing or disposing of gunge!)

Oh... Can I have a go in the gunge tank then, instead?
