Gunge on Solitary Sixty?

Well... sort of.

For the unaware, Solitary Sixty is the project I moved onto after QuizBob completed production.

The basic premise sees challengers attempting various formats and if they fail the task or don't complete it in time, they face an hour locked up alone in the very real cell - hence Solitary Sixty - typically in gruelling or uncomfortable circumstances.

Compared to QuizBob shows, it's "cleaner but meaner"... Until now.

In content released this week, Zack is sent to the jail for Solitary Sixty's newest format Guilty as Charged - in this case, nominated for being deliberately bad at the washing-up. In this format, there's no challenge to complete or prize to win. Instead, Zac is arrested and locked up in the cell from the start. He's given a hard-labour task to fit his crime.

Left in handcuffs and given only a shot glass, Zack must transfer water from a bucket to a bowl in front of the cell door.

When (*spoiler alert*) he fails to complete the job, he faces further punishment in part two: The Consequences.

With his feet still chained inside the cell, he is put into the pillory for another suitable penalty to fit his crime.

Zack thinks it's ok to do a bad job of washing-up, so we do a bad job of washing him up!

His head is covered with leftover custard, rice pudding and mushy peas before his head is dunked into the washing-up water he salvaged from the bucket and his head and hair are given a not-at-all thorough wash, leaving him coated in food chunks.
But that's just the start - he then faces the Solitary Sixty aspect, his head and hands chained up inside the cell where he is imprisoned for the next hour, damp and sticky.

Part one of this show is streaming now, part two from Wednesday 19th August 2026...

Or you can see it NOW with Early Access... Keep reading for details how, including a special discount!

So as I said at the start, it's a bit of mess for the first time at Solitary Sixty... But no, this isn't the start of regular gunge content - it's a forfeit that made sense for this particular episode.

That's not to say if you're a QuizBob fan, you won't enjoy Solitary Sixty, of course!

If you like playing along with the quiz aspect, Solitary Sixty has several formats perfect for that including QUIZ PRISON...

....as well as UNCHAINED! (Yes, the challenge aspect is very similar to QuizBob's Chained!, but hey - it's fine to copy my own ideas!)

For those of you that remember Hair Brained, at Solitary Sixty we play Beat the Buzzer...

And if you're just looking for good old-fashioned humiliation, you'll probably like Dungeonbound (which may also see some small amounts of mess flung at losing challengers in the coming months...)

There are many other formats too - perhaps you're tempted to see more about what it's all about?
